What we collect and why
What you send us. If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address and the content of your message in order to receive, evaluate and respond to your enquiry. The form is submitted through our website infrastructure and delivered to our business email account through Lovable's connector gateway, which sends it via our business Gmail account. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email.
Technical information. Our hosting and delivery infrastructure processes standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested page, referrer and browser user agent in order to serve pages and keep the site secure.
Providing information through the contact form is voluntary. If you do not provide the required information, we cannot receive or respond to your enquiry through the form.
We do not use personal information submitted through this website for automated decision-making or profiling.
Legal basis
Europe / Austria. Where the GDPR applies, our processing is based, as applicable, on responding to your request or pre-contractual communication; on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website and handling legitimate business enquiries; on your consent where analytics or advertising technologies are used (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021); and on legal obligations.
Canada. Personal information under our control in Canada is handled in line with applicable Canadian private-sector privacy requirements, including PIPEDA where it applies.
Retention
We retain enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate the opportunity, maintain relevant business records or meet legal obligations.
Information connected with an actual business relationship may be retained as required for business, accounting, tax or legal purposes.
Service providers and transfers
We do not sell personal information.
Technical service providers may process limited information where necessary to host, operate, secure the website and deliver enquiries. Contact-form submissions are handled by Lovable's connector gateway and delivered via Google (Gmail) to our business email account. Where you consent, Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (Meta Pixel) also process data as described under “Cookies, analytics and advertising”.
Where personal information is processed outside the European Economic Area, we apply the transfer requirements and safeguards required by applicable law.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use two categories of storage on this website: strictly necessary storage, and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising technologies. Nothing in the second category is loaded or set before you have made a choice, and refusing has no effect on your ability to use the website.
Strictly necessary and functional. Our hosting infrastructure processes the technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website. We store your language preference and your privacy choice in your browser's local storage so the site behaves as you selected. Typefaces are self-hosted and served from this website, so no font request is made to a third-party provider.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (consent required). If you consent to analytics, we load Google Analytics (gtag.js, provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to understand in aggregate which pages are viewed and how visitors move through the site. This sets Google Analytics cookies and processes an abbreviated IP address, device and browser information, referrer, pages viewed and interaction events, together with a pseudonymous identifier. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
Advertising — Meta Pixel and Google advertising signals (consent required). If you consent to advertising, we load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and enable Google's advertising signals in order to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach relevant audiences. This may set Meta cookies (for example _fbp) and transmit event data such as page views, the page URL, browser and device information and IP address to Meta, which may be matched to a Meta account where one exists. Meta acts as a joint controller for parts of this processing.
Google Consent Mode. Google tags on this website run with Google Consent Mode v2. Before any choice is made, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to "denied", and the Google tag is not loaded at all. Your decision is then transmitted to Google as a consent update, and advertising data redaction is applied while advertising consent is withheld.
Changing or withdrawing consent. Your choice is stored in your browser and remembered on future visits. You can change or withdraw it at any time using the "Privacy choices" link in the website footer, or by clearing your browser storage. Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect processing already carried out.
Google and Meta act as our processors and, in part, as independent or joint controllers for their own purposes. Both may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States; such transfers rely on the safeguards required by applicable law, including the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable. Further information is available in Google's and Meta's own privacy policies.
Your rights
Europe / Austria. You have the rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde). Requests relating to Austria: office@universal-marketing.at.
Canada. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy concern: office@universal-marketing.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
